Heather, Anna and I stayed back for a relaxing weekend in Gaming. We took the bikes and headed off for an afternoon of fun. This is Heather picking just the right spot for our picnic in the field across the road.

A little Austrian home at the foot of the Alps.

Row houses line the road to the Kartause.

On Sunday we went on a hike with some of the LCI students to the cave. Here we are waiting for the last few people.

Anna, Erin (one of the teachers for the LCI students) and Fefe (a student from China).

Heather broke out into spins and twirls as we were wending our way through a cow pasture.

Heather looks down on the town far below.

Some other FUS students sporting the "Tough and Muddy" look after their venture in the cave.

6434 steps to the top of the mountain!!!

Heather and the LCI student Michal from Slovakia.

Marika. Erin and Marike didn't venture into the cave... Heather, Michal and I went in a little bit but ended up turning around.

Sophia, Fefe, Thomas, Anna, Julia and Michal.... the muddy ones + 1 ;-D

Descending from the cave

An afternoon enjoying the sun... Heather brought a marvelous hammock and Audrey, Heather and I spent a lovely couple of hours in the park just relaxing...

Audrey gave me some pretty flowers ;-)

Audrey being studious.

Me ;-)

The view from the intramural field. I went to watch Heather's team face off against Anna's. After a valiant effort from both, Heather's team won.

Katy has fleet feet and makes funny faces ;-)

Heather and Katy run off the field.

Katy running off the field after making a touchdown.

Anna looking pretty intense, waiting for the play to start.
